THE SHORT ANSWER
Choosing between shilajit resin, capsules and gummies starts with the preparation you prefer and the ingredients you are willing to take. Compare the exact products, including their directions and pack details. A format name alone does not establish strength, quality or an equivalent serving.

01
Choose the preparation that suits you
Use the label to picture what taking the product would involve. Then compare the details that could change your choice.
| Format | Decision to make | Detail to check |
|---|---|---|
| Resin | Are you comfortable measuring a portion? | The stated measuring and preparation instructions |
| Capsules | Do you prefer counting capsules to measuring from a jar? | The number per serving, filling and shell ingredients |
| Gummies | Would you prefer a chewable format? | The full recipe and number of pieces per serving |
| Loose powder | Does measuring powder suit your routine? | Whether it is an extract or blend, and how it should be prepared |
| Sachets | Would separate packets suit how you carry or use it? | The contents of each packet and whether it equals one serving |
A sachet describes the packaging, not the formulation. Likewise, a bundle is a way of buying several products; it is not an instruction to take them together.
02
Compare the whole ingredient list
Read the current label for the exact option you would receive. For capsules, include the shell; for gummies, check any gelling ingredients, sugars, sweeteners and coatings. Do not assume a resin or powder contains only one ingredient.
A Himalayan shilajit gummy contains more than its shilajit ingredient: the gummy base is part of the finished recipe too. If a product is described as natural Himalayan shilajit gummies, read which ingredients that description refers to. Compare origin information separately from the recipe and the amount per piece.
Ingredients are generally listed in descending order of weight, with specified allergens emphasised. If an ingredient determines your choice, ask about that ingredient in the current formulation rather than relying on an old pack photograph. [S1]
For dietary requirements, check the finished product. A plant-derived gelling ingredient alone does not establish that the whole gummy is vegan. Vegan labelling also does not replace allergen information: read any precautionary wording as well. [S5]
03
Keep serving size separate from pack weight
Write down three details for each product: the amount of shilajit stated per piece or portion, the number of pieces or portions in a serving, and the directions for that product. A total gummy weight and a shilajit ingredient amount are different figures.
Equal milligrams do not, on their own, show that resin and a dry extract are equivalent preparations. Nor do two gummies automatically replace two capsules. Follow the new product’s directions when changing formats; do not carry over the previous portion. [S2]
Our label-reading guide explains amounts and extract ratios. If testing influences your decision, use the laboratory-report guide to check whether the report covers the relevant sample and finished product.
04
Choose the pack after the product
Once the format and ingredients suit your preferences, compare the selected pack size and full purchase price. A larger pack may reduce the unit price, but it also means committing to more of a product you may not yet know.
Calculate a serving count only from the stated directions and usable contents. If those details are missing or contradictory, ask before treating a pack as a month’s supply. The price comparison guide covers quantities and recurring purchases.
