Spoon & serving details

Target amounts per level scoop; exact weights await calibration.

Fill the bowl and level the resin flat with the rim, without a heap. These are target resin weights: a spoon measures volume, and the weight varies with the resin and how it is filled. Use a suitable milligram scale when an accurate weight is needed.

Choose the spoon that matches your product label. Follow its daily amount and preparation instructions; owning both sizes does not mean taking both together.

A licensed Canadian resin product uses 250 mg mixed into liquid. Studies have used 250 mg and 500 mg daily of specific preparations. These do not establish a universal dose or directions for My Shilajit.

Check with a healthcare professional before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a medical condition.

MY SHILAJIT / WAYS TO TAKE IT

Ways to
take resin.

My Shilajit faceted black jar and gold lid beside an adult bringing a wooden spoon towards their mouth

01 / Direct use

Resin.
On its own.

No cup. Just the resin’s rich, earthy taste.

  1. Measure.

Use the wooden spoon to lift the amount shown on the instruction card in your box.

  2. Take directly.

Follow the instruction card’s directions for under-the-tongue use.

  3. Seal.

Wash and dry the spoon, then close the lid firmly.

Good to know

Human studies of swallowed shilajit capsules do not establish faster absorption or greater benefit from under-the-tongue use. These studies do not establish a holding time; use the method described on the instruction card in your box.

02 / Warm water

Resin.
Meet water.

Dissolve in warm water.

  1. Measure.

Use the wooden spoon to measure the amount shown on your instruction card.

  2. Stir.

Stir the resin into warm water until it has dissolved.

  3. Enjoy.

Sip your drink. Wash and dry the spoon before putting it away.

Good to know

Your box includes an instruction card with serving and preparation details. The studies below used capsules and did not compare drinks or establish better absorption with warm water.

03 / Tea or milk

Resin.
In your cup.

Mix into warm tea or milk.

  1. Pour.

Pour a cup of tea or milk and let it cool until comfortably warm.

  2. Stir.

Use the wooden spoon to add the amount on your instruction card. Stir until dissolved.

  3. Enjoy.

Enjoy your drink, then wash and dry the spoon.

Good to know

Use the serving and preparation details on the instruction card in your box. The capsule studies below did not compare tea, milk and water or show that one drink makes shilajit more effective.

Choose a 250 mg or 500 mg target wooden spoon free with your resin jar, or both for £2 extra. Level the scoop flat and follow your instruction card.

Choosing pure shilajit resin in the UK

When comparing pure shilajit, start with the ingredients. “Pure” describes a claim about the contents; it is not a substitute for the full ingredient list or the results of relevant tests. Our purity and authenticity guide explains the differences.

Looking for pure Himalayan shilajit? Consider origin and composition separately: where the material was collected, how it was prepared and what the finished jar contains. For Himalayan shilajit sold in the UK, a UK delivery address does not identify the collection region.

Natural shilajit and purified shilajit describe different aspects of the material. Natural refers to its origin, while purification describes processing. Explore raw and purified shilajit to understand those terms before comparing products.

Fulvic acid, minerals and the sample report

Our published laboratory report covers a supplier-submitted resin sample. Read the reported fulvic acid and mineral results alongside their units, test methods and reporting limits. A percentage without its method is not enough to compare two reports; see how to compare fulvic acid results.

The tested sample has not been linked to a finished My Shilajit product. Its results do not establish the composition of every jar or prove a health benefit. Check the report’s sample identity and scope before using it to assess a purchase. A product verification code and a laboratory result answer different questions.

Resin or capsules?
